An Artist's Disney Tribute through Origami Stars

Hello everyone. :)

I hope everyone is having a happy and healthy day.
As many of your know, I make origami stars, a lot. And throughout college, I basically made my pocket money by recreating parts of my childhood into themed origami stars. The biggest collection that I have are my Disney movie inspired stars. I thought it was worth reflecting and collecting into a post because it has literally been a huge chunk of the past 5 years of my life. It's fun, inspiring, and it reminded me to be creative, youthful, but still hardworking. Here goes!

Note that I was inspired by not just color schemes of the movie or characters' outfits but sometimes a a persona of a theme or character. These were my interpretations of something captivating about the movie. :) I occasionally make more than one per movie also so don't be surprised by repeats. Enjoy.

The Little Mermaid

Cinderella

Tarzan

Aladdin

Alice in Wonderland

Finding Nemo

Tangled

Peter Pan

Pocahontas

Frozen

Mulan

Beauty and the Beast

Sleeping Beauty

The Princess and the Frog

I actually think there was more but these were the main ones so far. If I ever find more or make more, I'll be sure to add them to this list.

Thanks for swinging by CTN today. :)
Happy Martin Luther King Day!

Cheers,
Dana
