Natural Essentials Kit - Sweet Citrus
Sweet Citrus Natural Essentials Kit - $25+
I had the lovely opportunity to review one of It's the Balm's Natural Essential Kits! I chose Sweet Citrus since I love fruity scents and it sounded so appropriate for the current southern weather I am in! This set is offered is 2 fl oz for $25 and 4 fl oz for $35. I am so glad I reviewed such a fruity and whimsically summer-based essentials kit because it was exactly what I needed after a rough summer semester.

Here is the adorable packaging I received!

My kit came ready for gifting in an organza bag, sealed in a plastic sleeve, all individually packaged with love and even tape for the lids. I received clear instructions on the use/preparation of the products as well.

Let's start with my favorite, the Citrus sugar scrub. I have tested a few natural sugar scrubs and guess what-- this one is my new favorite!

$6.00+
Due to the summer heat, I received clear instructions to place this product into the fridge for two hours to revive the consistency of the scrub. Here it is sitting on my kitchen table! Upon use, the chilled sugar scrub was just... awesome.  I honestly don't even know what adjective to use there. A film of soft foam formed on the top and all the thick sugar was sitting below, ready for me to use. Unlike other sugar scrubs, this sugar scrub has thicker sugar grains and exfoliate your skin as your lather it in. I was surprised it didn't instantly melt after a few "up and down" motions because it lasted the whole lather! Plus, your skin will feel so supple and moist afterwards.

Ingredients: Organic Cane Sugar, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Unrefined Shea Butter, Turbinado Sugar, Oil Blend (Safflower, Sesame, Jojoba, Sunflower, Olive, Palm Fatty Acid, Vitamins A&E), Essential Oils

A funny side note that I wanted to mention was this story my sister shared. One night, I used the sugar scrub in the shower on my face and upper back followed by the Sexy Key Lime Body Cream after. I stepped into my sister's room for a brief conversation where I plopped over in her bed. She said she smelled "me" or the remnants of whatever product I used all night. That's when I knew that It's the Balm's products also had a strong long lasting scent that people will remember. ;)

After using the Citrus Sugar Scrub in the shower, I used the Sexy Key Lime Body Cream to moisturize my back and legs.

$10.00+
This Sexy Key Lime Body Cream is definitely whipped and fluffy. Even if you scoop some out with your finger, it will feel plushy and airy but it will lather on like melting butter. It's not very citrus based but that refreshing hint of lime is there with a the nice buttery smell of the pie. It's the Balm's body cream and sugar scrub both had the same scent/essence to it actually. It's highly moisturizing and my legs were spoiled with all the goodness packed into this body cream. I love the different sizes available for many of It's the Balm's products. My kit was perfect for traveling so I enjoyed them all very much! These containers are definitely re-usable as well so yay for eco-friendly products!

Ingredients: Organic Shea Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Cocoa Butter, Organic Beeswax, Organic Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil, Organic Raw Honey, Vitamin E, Essential Oils

Next is this awesome Eucalyptus-Spearmint Linen Spray.

$7.50+

I brought the linen spray to a 4 day cabin trip in hopes that it would help me sleep better. I sprayed the pillows and sheets generously with the spray and allowed it to dry before jumping in every night. I actually got a summer cold and absolutely loved the minty scent that the spray offered because it was refreshing but also great for my sinuses. It really helped me fall asleep and it's a great gift for anyone experiencing stress, restlessness, etc. It was nice to lounge in pillows and sheets that were so comforting but also invigorating to smell. This linen spray is a great size and it's easy to carry on the go wherever you may need some relaxation.

Chapstick or lip balm is always an essential for my chronic dry lips. This key lime kiss lip balm is perfect to carry around and to use!

$4.00

It's buttery, rich texture supplied me supply and moist lips during the duration of my cabin trip as well. the container is uniquely opal shaped and slides onto your lips evenly during application as well. The scent is so soothing, yummy, and crisp all at the same time.

This is what it looks like on my lips. It's just a nice simple shine! You can wear it everyday! Every time I'd apply it, everyone would ask me, what's that scent?! Believe me, it's yummy. It's just like the whipped body cream I reviewed so they would make a great little gift together! I can't believe it's a $25 set for 4 products-- so reasonable! And this is the end of my review. I hope you guys find it helpful and fun!
