I have a special treat for you guys and this post will be featuring an old sponsor who has been with me since year one of my blog! Please welcome Kelly Michelle Art! Kelly Michelle re-opened her shop with a brand new line up of PDF printables or custom printed orders. All of her products currently range from $3-$5 which is an awesome price range for handmade stationary!
Since I don't have a color printer, nor do use PDF files, Kelly Michelle generously offered to do a custom order with me. For custom orders, you may have your products printed and shipped to you for an extra printing and shipping fee. For the purpose of this review, I will discuss Kelly Michelle's products in their physical and PDF nature. Here are the products that I was sent!
Let's start off with the overall customer experience. Kelly is really easy to work with and very responsive.
All products arrived nicely stacked into a well-fitting manila envelope with "Do no bend" stamps marked all over the place. The envelope arrived safely and was indeed not folded!
Let's start off with the lovely greeting cards!
I personally chose 2 blank cards (both are $3.00 PDF printable):
The flower card may look familiar as it is one of Kelly Michelle's signature flowers in my opinion. I had other cards and even stickers printed with this flower on it in the past. Kelly Michelle always offers youthful and vibrant designs often with a floral and heart theme. Her work is family friendly and great for spreading happiness with her often used shades of aqua, pink, and green.
Both cards were printed on cardstock and handfolded. They are very thick and durable as long as you print them on cardstock! They both came with a fitting white envelope as well. As a custom order, I was pleased with the size of the card, cardstock it was printed on, and the envelope it came with.
The flower thank you card has a very handmade feel to it because of the handwriting design in the background. The colorful marker-like handwriting gives the card a more authentic vibe but the colors don't print in perfectly crisp lines. The background of the card is off white yellow due to the printing. It doesn't bother me at all but my photos do not show this so I wanted to mention it. Also, if you purchase these files as a PDF, you can printed them however you want on whatever you want so you will have absolute control of the finished product.
The Live Life with Love Print was actually an art print meant to be framed for a wall. I liked the simplicity of the colorful design and Kelly Michelle said she could print it as a card for me. It was digitally created since the font is not handwritten and prints with a completely white background. The colors printed very sharply and I enjoyed the simplicity to this decorative heart design. Since the sizing was meant for a centered art print and changed to a card, I'm assuming it was not centered for the cover of the card.
Overall, the cards put a smile on my face. I've said this before but I always write a lot in cards. I love how large these cards can be printed because it's great for novel-writing folks like me. :D
Let's move onto the gift tags!
I knew right away that I would love these gift tags and picked out 3 different sets. I love the bright flowers and the butterfly design because they are perfect for playful and festive occasions. I can easily use them for gift bags or even as little thank you tags for my trinkets customers. All the tags were wrapped very nicely and printed/cut professionally. I was really pleased with how nicely they were cut and packaged in bundles together upon delivery.
Here are the ones that I picked ($3.00 PDFs):
I have to say that the butterfly design really stands out to me! I love the pink with the aqua blue so much! Again, there are some minimal fuzzy areas with the lining of the butterfly's blue color but it doesn't compromise the quality of the design or gift tags. These designs printed wonderfully and accurately according to the watermark designs listed at Kelly Michelle's shop. The only subtle difference I saw was in the blue flower's petal colors. They are a little lighter in her watermarks but printed the same color as the background of the gift tags. We all know that printers and monitors give off different hues of colors sometimes so that will just depend on the paper you print on and your printer's ink.
That is the end of my review! I hope you guys enjoyed it. Now for a little interview and featured items.

1. How did your shop get started? It all started in 2012. I saw a feature on a daytime talk show about Etsy. I had always wanted to start my own art business, so I thought I would try it with Etsy. I drew out my own designs and started selling them on paper goods. In 2014, I started selling digital items as well with my current shop.
