New Etsy Reader and App

Hey guys!

I'm sharing some super cool stuff and news for all of your Etsy sellers and buyers.
Etsy recently launched an Etsy Seller App and a Credit card reader.

Etsy has come such a long way. I remember when I first started selling, they only accepted Paypal transactions and had no international shipping labels. That was over 4 years ago and now, look how far Etsy has come. It's pretty crazy being a part of the Etsy family for this long so I'm really proud of this app and reader they released recently.

I ordered mine on Etsy for free and it has arrived. I just wanted to share it with you guys~

You guys can read and order your reader here

It came with this innovative box to store it and to use it as a stand during festivals, events, etc. Neat isn't it? :)

The Etsy Seller app has been updated for the readers as well.

You can sell current listings that are already up in your shop.
You can make a quick sale and just put the price in.
It's great!

Sell on Etsy Reader

This is so convenient for all of you business travelers and festival sellers. It will be great for in person customers as well.

I love that you can just make your own quick sale or new listing. Or, you can just sell from an existing listing as well.

Every swipe takes a 2.75% cut from you but you won't be charged for Etsy transaction fees!
For quick sales, you don't have to pay listing fees as well so you save some money. :)
For manual card entry, it's a 3% cut + 25 cents per sale.

I've been really digging this app since all my conversations and sales show up and alert me instantly with a little sound on my phone. It has made my Etsy management so much easier and stream-lined.

If you're a seller, you should definitely get the app if possible along with the reader for possible future in person sales. :)

  1. I'm pretty excited about this new reader. I just got mine in the mail yesterday. I sure could have used it last month...Thanks for posting about it (I pinned it!).

  2. Just ordered mine! Now, is it major credit cards that are charged 3% + $0.25? Etsy says it's manual (but I wanted to double check in case I misread something)

    1. Hey Mardi! I just copied and pasted this from Etsy. "Just 2.75% per Swipe.
There's no Etsy transaction fee for sales made in person, and no listing fees for Quick Sales. Manual card entry costs 3% + 25¢ per sale." I must have typed it out wrong. :)
