YOINS and a day at the beach!

Hey guys!

YOINS collaborated with me and sent me some dresses for review.
Here's a little review on my overall experience with them.
I was lucky enough to have this review fall on the same day I planned to go to the beach with my friend after fieldwork. It was such a great way to end the long day!! :)

First of all, my experience with YOINs' customer service was great. They were nice and fast to reply. My package arrived safely in 3 weeks with both dresses nicely folded in separate plastic sleeves.

I ordered this totem print dress that I thought was cool and edgy with an open back. Unfortunately, it was a little big so I sewed in the straps to make them a little shorter. The picture makes the dress colors look less saturated but in reality, the orange is very saturated and bright. It isn't a pastel shade. It's stretchy, thin, and great for warm weather.

This is a medium and the sides were so big that when I would wear a bandeau, you cold see my entire bandeau and the skin below it like one of those jogging shirts. I altered the straps. Once the straps were shorter, the dress fit a lot better on the sides, but as you can see, it's a pretty short dress. It was perfect as an over throw at the beach though! I like the vibrant colors and patterns on it. The back is unique too!

My second dress is this floral print skater dress with an open back. This dress also looked more like a dark orange color in the photos but it turns out that it's hot pink! I still find it really pretty. The back is completely open in this strappy star shape. The only thing that made me sad about this dress is that the front stitching had an error where there was a fold in the fabric. It causes the dress to ripple up front, making a funny crease in the chest area. The one stitching error on the pink dress is disappointing but manageable. It was a small error, but in a very inconvenient location. You can wear the dress with a bandeau under if you don't mind the back having an extra strap but I personally think it's better without it. Here I am wearing it over a bathing suit.

Overall, I really like the fabric choices and designs that YOINS used for these dresses. Check out YOINS for the latest trends and online fashion. They do have some really cute party dresses that I would love to wear around the upcoming holidays! I was happy to check out Venice Beach. It's a nice and quiet beach on a Thursday so I'm glad I didn't go on the weekend. I'll leave you with this beautiful sunset!
