A long weekend of photos

Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a fun post of pictures from the past few days.
I have this oddly long break between my last lecture class and final so it was a combination of playing and studying that was pretty hard to balance. It's strange thinking the semester is over but technically not over because finals aren't over! But hey... I'm getting through it!

I took a few art breaks to destress and to enjoy myself during my breaks. Here's this painting that I started drawing last year and completely forgot about until now. It turned out nicely in my opinion.

Here's one I was working on spontaneously. I didn't plan any of it so it's going to come together however it wants to. Sometimes, that's the best kind of art.

I also had a night out with friends and ended up at a pizza place in DTLA with such a large group that we had to connect all of their available tables and seats. But I must say... late night pizza is bomb.

I wanted to share this quote because it truly reflects the journey that I went through and am still going through this year. Living focusing on yourself and the beauty around you... what you want to experience and what's important to you... that can be so hard to do. This is a great reminder. And accepting the natural cycle is all about accepting your place in the world too before accepting when others leave or arrive in this world.

I got this letter in the mail at the perfect time. A letter from an old friend telling me about her life and where she is on that spectrum is so fascinating because I'm in such a different place. And this "gopher it" was a perfect little "you can do it" to go into finals with.

My long weekend ended with a nice study session full of breaks and froyo with a friend.
The simple simplicities in life are so grand.

Enjoy. Happy May everyone. :)

It's true that the simple things in life are often the ones that are the most beautiful and inspire the most amount of creativity....
